Harbour Island is undoubtedly a unique and luxurious destination, but operating rentals here or on other islands is far more challenging than in the US or Europe.

Measuring less than 500 acres with a population of around 2,000, Harbour Island presents significant obstacles, including finding skilled employees and professional subcontractors to maintain homes. At La Palmeraie, one of the top rentals on the island, we address this by hiring and training our own maintenance team, avoiding reliance on often busy and inconsistent subcontractors. We prioritize the quality of our homes and focus on preventive measures to maintain top standards.

To streamline operations, we keep a comprehensive inventory of parts and supplies to minimize delays in sourcing. Since every item must be imported from the US, we rely on weekly shipments via boats and small cargo planes. For emergencies, we own two planes to ensure rapid delivery when needed.

Our in-house Bahamian team works closely with our Miami team, which includes builders and architects, ensuring robust support. Local builders in Harbour Island are also available to assist our maintenance team when necessary. Since 2015, our group has consistently developed projects in Harbour Island and Eleuthera, with plans to continue until approximately 2030.
